Hello. I've had a weapon light which at one time was a decent light. (No brand name or any markings) Technology has advanced since then and makes this light look dismal, however I still want it put to use. I put it away a long time ago, forgetting the reason I put it away. Since pulling it from the moth balls, I've figured out why it was taken out of service. The wiring from the tail cap pressure switch had come loose and its not getting power. Both the black and white wire were pulled from inside and I really don't know much about wiring but I would like to get it soldered back together. My less than knowledgeable attempt to get this done has proven unsuccessful. Needless to say, I need help and am hoping someone might be able to give me some, including where the wires need to be attached and the best way to do it. I've tried soldering to the cap itself and have had no success. Its not a good or expensive light, but I think its worth reviving.
