Two similar flashlights I'm debating on.

I'm looking at one of these two lights to get.  They look pretty similar.  Is there any real difference?

Great light's, both of them. The difference is in the LED used. The Javelot version uses the XP-L HI emitter which provides increased throw over the other. The S30R II is more floody. Usually a light like this with a fairly small reflector will give less illumination range and a broader beam.

Olight Javelot series lights use the XP-L HI which is domeless and has farther illumination range. For your use I would think the more focused beam would be better suited.

I love the SR30 and use the fool out of it.

I'm now looking at the S30RIII as a second light and to keep in my vehicle
