I like both the AceBeam & Thru Nite because they use standard 18650 cells that could be swapped out "in the field" for extended run time. In the case of the ThruNite with the cost at nearly 5x less you could buy two & carry one as a full backup, light batteries & all.

The BLF Q8 (made by Thorfire) has been a big hit. 5000 lumens and just under $73.00 right now............

You can't go wrong with the Q8, especially for the cost. I have four of them. With a few simple changes they put out close to 6,000 lumen and around 90k lux. But the UI is the best feature of the Q8.

I just bought a used Eagtac MX30L4Cvn with four XPL HI 4000K emitters which is now my go to light! At 5,200 lumen and 200k lux with a wonderful neutral tint, it is the most balanced light I have ever used. It is really a popcan thrower.
