BASEN 26650 Battery's
« on: October 16, 2018, 03:13:16 PM »
These seem to be a new(ish) brand.
Anybody tried them? Rewraps. Cheap cells. They SAY 60A Intermittent max output.
Wondering what the "continuous" output would be.

They in same price range as Keep-power.

These seem to be good cells for use in single cell lights and if a high draw is needed they work good for that. They are slightly thicker than many of the 26650 cells and they are also fairly short , so keep those 2 things in mind if you do decide to buy them.

To my understanding they are not a cell you want to use in lights that are wired in series as many of them do not like to stay matched.

I have a couple of these and they are both have seen what I would call normal use for around 14 or 15 months , not used too often but do get used in a couple of my single cell , modded out lights with a fairly high amperage draw.

The continuous amperage draw is supposed to be 40 amps.

So far no problems as far as the performance of the cells in the single cell lights.
